Satellite Font is a new type of Basic Sans Serif Font that was designed to be easier to read in space. When astronauts are in space they experience something called visual impairment and intracranial pressure. This means it is harder for them to see and read clearly. Satellite Font was created so that astronauts could read texts and instructions more easily while in space. This font is simple in its design with thick lines that emphasize each letter in its own way. This helps astronauts read the words even when their vision is impaired. Satellite Font was created to improve reading comprehension and communications for astronauts in space missions as well as travel.
